WORKING AT HEIGHT

 

Many accidents are caused when working at height. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the Work at Height (Amendment) Regulations 2007 are the statutory instruments which set the standards to control work at height.

 

JRL Solutions Ltd provides a half day course for managers and those who will carry out risk assessments for work at height.

The syllabus includes:-

  • understanding legislation and standards
  • identifying hazards
  • carrying out risk assessment
  • effective control of risk including the hierarchy of avoidance, prevention of falls and mitigation of consequence
